This card started out as my SoulEssence card, but recently I’ve been hearing it “speak” to me. So I’m going with the flow and listening…

Perhaps it is a different Neter or maybe my SoulEssence card decided to speak! It’s a mystery to me.

Who are you?
I am the one who is sound asleep on the edge of the Universe. I am the one who is dreaming of a life where I am free from this earthly body.

I am the one who knows that when I take my last breath, my soul is going to rise up and up and up into the soul of Spirit. My soul will blend more fully into the soul of Spirit and there will be no more anxiety, no more loneliness, no more fear, no more wondering . . .Ā  because I will know. . . finally, I will know where I am going and who I belong to.

I am the one with wide white wings— the wings of Spirit that are lifting me higher and higher into Spirit.

See? I am looking upward into the face of The One, The One who knows and loves me beyond all comprehension.

 

 

Many Hats

scmanyhatsThis is a card that I made intuitively, being first drawn to the woman with all the hats on her head. Soon after, I found the image behind her, of the stack of colorful hats, so I knew they belonged together. I went in search of some background images to place behind the woman and the hats, and voila! This came together so easily, and she spoke to me quickly and easily also.

Who are you?

I am the one who is striding forward easily and effortlessly even though I am wearing many hats.

I am the one who has several hats balanced on my head.

I am the one who is smiling as I move forward.

I am the one who likes all of the hats that I wear.

What do you have to give me?

I give you the knowing that it is perfectly all right to wear so many hats.

I give you the gift of balance as you walk through your life.

 

What is your message for me today?

My message for you today is this: name and wear your many Hats with pride and delight. Each Hat has been given to you for a reason, never forget this!

Wisdom from My Death Card

I know you love the idea of calling me “Sister Death” as did St. Francis of Assissi, but I have come to you on this collage as male. Please call me Brother Death. Since you have two big brothers and no sisters, perhaps Brother Death will suit you better.

My message for you today is this: immerse yourself in all the colors- literal and metaphorical- of Life. That is the only way for you to be ready to take my hand as you take your last breath.

I stand before you, ancient as Time, against a backdrop of feathers of the angels. We are all supporting you and offering you gentle reminders and support. Listen closely, you will hear us whispering.

But remember, I am the Serious One. This is no joke. Death is no joke. I am the Great Interrupter and I spare no one. Let this be consolation to you, and let this be the impetus that keeps you awake.

Fearless

I am the one who runs quickly forward without any fear.

I am the one who is strong and might and resilient.

I am the one who faces life in a forward motion courageously because I know that I am strong and resilient. I also know that I am safe and protected.

I am the one who takes big steps when I need to take big steps.

My message for you today is this- you have been fearless in so many things on your journey- facing difficult stepchildren, keeping your marriage going, your parents’ deaths, cancer, the deaths of your beloved felines, writing and publishing fiction, starting a business . . .

Now it is time to be fearless in claiming time for yourself for rest and renewal and softening and self-connection. This is a different kind of fearlessness, a different kind of courage, but still. . . It is time to active my energy more and more.

11 Card Draw- More and Less

I did this free-flow reading as a way to ease into the New Year, but you can use it any time to bring clarity and focus to your life.

I drew 11 cards randomly from my deck (without peeking!) and placed them, face down, in a stack on my desk.

Then I turned over each card, one at a time,
and asked it “What do I need more of?” and “What do I need less of?”
