Why Explore the book This is Woman’s Work?
To author ourselves, to own the expanse of our voices and our stories,
is critical for us as women.
We are the utterance of so many unclaimed hallelujahs
rushing suddenly forth to bear witness
to the birthing of our names.
~ Dominique Christina, This Is Woman’ Work, page 3.
I found this book on a bargain table in a local book store many years ago and was immediately drawn in by the cover, and by the intriguing subtitle: Calling forth your inner council of wise, brave, crazy, rebellious, loving, luminous selves.
I devoured several chapters at once and remember feeling quite amazed at how beautifully Dominique’s writing wove into our SoulCollage® work. Then I put it back on my bookshelf as life intervened.
However, earlier this year as I was wondering what to focus our 2026 SoulCollage Celebration series on, my eyes lit upon this book (still on the shelf) and I felt its essence calling to me. Yes, I thought! How wonderful it would be to call forth and celebrate our wise, brave, crazy, rebellious, loving, luminous selves with an avid and curious group of SoulCollagers!
Here are the archetypal women that Dominique covers in this fascinating book: Shadow Woman, Ghost Woman, Willing Woman, Rebel Woman, Woman with Cool Hands, Conjure Woman, Wombed Woman, Journey Woman, Shapeshifter Woman, Warrior Woman, Third Eye Woman, Howling Woman, Violated Woman, Beggar Woman, Bone Woman, Liberator Woman, Woman of Words, Wild Woman, Whisper Woman, and Everywoman. You can see below which Women we will be exploring during this unique series.
So here we are, ready to go!
And what about you? Are you ready to call forth these “unclaimed hallelujahs,” these “luminous selves?” And if you’re not quite ready to call them forth, are you at least ready to wonder about them . . . to learn a bit about them, to begin to make their acquaintance?
I hope you’ll join us in 2026 for another insightful, exciting, community-building journey into ourselves and our SoulCollage journeys.
NOTE: You are not required to buy or read this book in order to attend the workshops.
Our Facilitators will be expanding on the words of this amazing author so if you haven’t read it, you won’t be missing a thing!
This online video SoulCollage® series is for you if . . .
… you are curious about your own “unclaimed hallelujahs” and are ready to embrace your own “woman’s work”
… you want to feel more connected to yourself and your journey as a woman
… you would like to learn more about your own Inner Council of Luminous Selves
… you are ready to learn, discover, and explore the depths of your own SoulCollage® deck
Join this unique online Zoom workshop series to:
* feel more connected to yourself, and the wider SoulCollage® community
* learn about and experience the wisdom of your own inner women using left and right brain modalities
* enjoy a space to better understand your own life’s journey within our explorations led by our experienced Facilitators (see their bios and photos below)

* enter into dialogue with some of your own inner and archetypal female guides

We are witnessing the re-emergence of the archetypal feminine wisdom long underrated in the world
but now rising up to balance the heroic and individualistic and logical masculine wisdom.
It’s time for both/and , not either/or.
~ Seena B. Frost, Founder of SoulCollage®

Every woman is composed of many selves―archetypal players of the psyche who contribute their voices to her greater “I.”
This book introduces us to our council of inner women, delving into the secret wisdom and gifts of the Willing Woman, the Rebel, the Shapeshifter, the Warrior, and more. Combining writing exercises with fresh and dynamic insights, the author helps us make an intimate connection with each inner woman―
known and unknown, loved and feared―
so we may integrate their voices, realize their wisdom, and open ourselves to our full expression and power.

The Woman with Cool Hands
with Kat Kirby & Anne Marie Bennett
“She is her own medicine. A balm. A healer. Her hands are always open.” ~ Dominique Christina
In this luminous session, Kat invites you into the realm of the Healer archetype — the Caregiver, known in this book as The Woman With Cool Hands. She is the one who soothes fevered brows, mends broken spirits, and offers comfort with a touch that feels like grace. Rooted in service, this woman finds her peace in tending to others, her joy in easing pain. As women, we know her well. We were taught from an early age that this is who we are meant to be: the nurturers, the givers, the ones who hold everything together. But when we look more deeply, we begin to ask — Where does my inner Healer truly live within me? What sacred gifts do I offer when I love and tend to another from my power, not my depletion? And what does the shadow of this archetype reveal?
Together, we will explore these questions through Kat’s stories, journaling prompts, and the gentle guidance of our SoulCollage® cards. We’ll look upon our decks with fresh, intuitive eyes, discovering where the Healer’s energy lives and how she wishes to evolve within us now. And, as in every session of this series, we will listen for the loud voice of the Wild Woman — she who is smouldering, unapologetic, and fiercely free. What truths will she share about the Woman With Cool Hands? What will she awaken in you?
Kat Kirby, ATR-BC grew up in New Jersey, in a family that valued art and music, and learned from an early age that creativity and self-expression are keys to a fulfilling life. Since the early 1970s, she has been a believer in the healing power of the arts and creative self-expression. Kat is a retired Board Certified, Registered Art Therapist and spent over 40 years using the arts to help people find their visual, creative voices. She offers workshops in collage, art journals, upcycled books, mixed media collage, mosaics, SoulCollage®, and more. She loves leading creativity retreats in beautiful locations such as Portugal, France, the Caribbean, Sedona, and Taos. Kat has taught and mentored graduate students at Prescott College, and offers creative workshops through Yavapai College’s Community Education. As a SoulCollage® Facilitator, she offers workshops and retreats in this wonderful collage technique, which adds to her belief that art has amazing healing powers. She has two rules that she always shares with her students: 1. You can’t be wrong, and 2. Have fun! Visit her website and her YouTube channel.

Bringing the Intuitive, Mysterious
and Magical Facets
of Feminine Wisdom To Light
with Lisa Handley & Anne Marie Bennett
Feminine wisdom is embodied in everyone, and like the many-layered concept of The One and the Many that we embrace in SoulCollage®, this wisdom is multifaceted. In this workshop, we’ll explore the intuitive, mysterious and magical facets of feminine wisdom as we meet the archetypes of The Third Eye Woman and The Conjure Woman (also known as The Witch). Throughout history, people with strong ties to these two archetypes have often been misunderstood, rejected and persecuted, yet, both of these powerful archetypal energies can offer us many enlightening and empowering gifts.
As SoulCollage® founder Seena Frost describes The Witch in her book SoulCollage® Evolving, “She uses her knowledge primarily to benefit the living beings of the earth including animals, which she especially cherishes.” The Third Eye Woman and The Conjure Woman are visionaries whose beneficial qualities, once recognized, can help you bring your own feminine wisdom to light in brighter and bolder ways.
Lisa Handley, mixed media artist and SoulCollage® Facilitator, discovered SoulCollage® in her local hospital’s healing art program in 2012. Its deeply profound impact on her cancer survivor journey inspired Lisa to train as a Facilitator in Spring 2014 in order to share the method with others. Lisa offers SoulCollage® and creative workshops at art, bereavement, youth and senior centers, in schools, in private groups and on Zoom, KaleidoSoul and World of SoulCollage®. Lisa lives on the Monterey Peninsula in California. She loves beachcombing, hiking, wildflowers and wildlife, poetry, art, volunteering in her community, making good memories with family and friends and cultivating her own intuitive and magical capacities. Connect with Lisa online at her website, Facebook, Instagram, and World of SoulCollage.

From the Whisper Woman
to the Woman of Words
with Jessica Snow & Anne Marie Bennett
Do you know the beautiful feeling that comes when you express yourself perfectly? We all have a sweet spot when it comes to expressing ourselves – the perfect balance of saying what must be said without saying too much. And, of course, we live in a world that is perfectly happy to direct, constrict and overexpose our communications. Fortunately, we have SoulCollage® to help us explore our communication patterns – to figure out our middle path, our personal golden ratio of what we choose to say and what is better left unsaid.
Explore with us the spectrum of potential perfect self-expression through SoulCollage®, imagery and visualization. This is going to be a wild and expansive ride through communication themes that weave through our everyday lives. We’ll experiment our way through the gamut – from the Whisper Woman to the Woman of Words – exploring our ability to be protectively quiet all the way to putting it all out there.
Jessica Snow’s bright creativity and magical voice have made her a beloved meditation guide in her hometown of Los Angeles. She has a special gift for connecting us to Nature, each other and our highest and deepest selves. Jessica knows how to create space for our imaginations. The words and images in her meditations act as keys that unlock magical resources within the listener or viewer. Since 2012, Jessica has guided hundreds of events with many thousands of people, written four books, created an audio/video library of more than 150 original experiences (which people have pressed play on over 125,000 times), taught SoulCollage® extensively and created a counter-cultural space for thinking and dreaming on Substack. Whatever the medium, Jessica’s art is a magic-filled experience. Connect with Jessica on her website and her blog.

Between Winter and Spring:
The Marys’ Vigil
with Sushmita Mukherjee & Anne Marie Bennett
Every spiritual tradition has ways of marking liminal times—the pause between death and rebirth, ending and beginning. In this workshop, we will use the Easter story as a portal into an experiential encounter with the sacred in-between, exploring it through the eyes of three women who embody timeless feminine archetypes: the three Marys.
While other disciples scattered, three women remained. Mary the mother, the Wombed Woman, holds her grief with the same hands that once cradled new life. Mary Magdalene, the Bone Woman, arrives first to the tomb in pre-dawn darkness—knowing how to gather what others abandon, singing life back into dry bones, unafraid of death’s threshold. Mary of Clopas, the Journey Woman, walks the path to the tomb even when the destination seems hopeless, her pilgrimage itself an act of faith. Together they embody wisdom that transcends tradition—the knowing of how to wait in the dark, trusting without demanding rebirth.
April knows this place. Earth is still cool, buds tight on branches, everything poised but not yet blooming. This workshop will invite us into an experience of this patient waiting at whatever threshold life is offering each of us.
Sushmita Mukherjee (she/her) is based in New York City, on indigenous Lenape land. Sushmita is both a biomedical research scientist at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University (focusing on microscopic imaging of cells and tissues), and an ordained interfaith/interspiritual minister, spiritual companion and a faculty member at The Thread Interfaith Seminary. Her work thrives at the interface of Interspirituality and an engagement of the image – whether scientific, psychological or spiritual. She has been a SoulCollage® Facilitator since 2019. In her offerings, Sushmita interweaves mystical spirituality, Jungian and Archetypal psychology, SoulCollage®, art, poetry and movement – always with an eye on social justice and equity. Class 5
Shadow Medicine Woman
with Jennifer Boire & Anne Marie Bennett
Is there a part of you still waiting in the dark, shadowy and unseen, waiting to be born? Medicine woman calls down the thunder and the rain, reads your cards, attunes herself to Spirit in nature. This workshop is about finding Beauty in the Darkness, gold in the shadows, shifting things out of the deep into the light. Shadow woman is described by the author of This is Women’s Work as the secret self who lives in the womb space of the underbelly, hidden from consciousness, and tricky to see. She is the archetype of one who is interested in her own becoming, and longing to be seen. Perhaps you have some unmapped soul places to discover or some part of you that is waiting to be born.
In this class we will use visualisation, centering and journaling to enter the waiting room of ourselves. Here are found not only the ugly and repressed, but the beautiful things you used to love and cherish but have forgotten: slumbering talents and gifts. Imagine it as a dusty locked room, full of old toys, favorite books, abandoned bikes and clothing too small. We will write to explore, perhaps a love letter, or a special prescription for the medicine our soul needs; as well as dialogue with some SoulCollage® committee members already in your deck. We will spend time exploring this dark gestating place, which is also your feminine center. Shadow Woman is the possessor of secrets unborn, still hissing in the garden, Lilith to your Eve. She carries the medicine of living in possibility. She is the awakener.
Jennifer Boire is a semi-retired facilitator, retreat leader, poet and author of The Tao of Turning Fifty. She discovered the creative synchronicity of SoulCollage® in 2012, and added it to her ongoing journal writing classes for women. From 2018 to 2024 she led online and in-person Facilitator trainings in English and French. Her Scorpio nature leads her to read, write, and teach about transition times and transformation. Right now, she is taking time away from teaching to work on a memoir of her wildish teen years. Connect with her on her website.

What SoulCollagers Are Saying About Our
KaleidoSoul Zoom Celebration Series:
I loved the entire series. It was well thought-out, organized, and very professional. I felt very safe in a group of like-minded people. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
I really appreciated the weekly engagement emails in between sessions, and the many, many handouts. I felt encouraged to work more consistently with my SoulCollage® cards.
There was a great balance of left brain learning and right brain experiencing.
It was very nice to meet all these beautiful SoulCollagers from all over the world!
I appreciated the immense wisdom that everyone shared. A lot of work was put into the Chakra Extravaganza and the timing was perfect. I also looked forward to the weekly emails of resources and activities to keep the experience going.
Even though I am just starting this series (better late than never), I can sense the powerfulness of the work and the deep connection with myself that it is already providing.
I have discovered lots of great tools for my work as a therapist and coach and also my own healing and growth.
Truly, each guest Facilitator brought their own unique gifts. I loved that there was a variety and not the same Facilitator each month. Anne Marie lended continuity and held it all together beautifully with her opening presentations for each session.
Every session was well-structured. I enjoyed the variety of the presenters and what each one offered.
I really loved meeting and connecting with other SoulCollagers from all over the place! It was wonderful to connect with them in all of the small group breakout sharing sessions.
What was really great was that you gathered together Facilitators with so many different teaching styles. No two sessions were alike!
Thank you for this offering. It was worth every penny as well as the time that I put into watching the videos and doing the “homeplay.”
I had a great time! I will go back to these classes again and learn new things. It’s wonderful that that’s possible.
I loved the many different guest Facilitators and the ability to watch the videos later and not have to watch “live.” So much work went into each presentation, that was obvious.
I learned so many new things about my deck that went beyond the topic of the series.
I appreciated the integrity of the environment that was set up for us to go deep, share, feel… I thought that the variety in topic, format, speakers, participants, was helpful. I also liked the time in between Zooms to continue the work with weekly loving email reminders and activities.
It was absolutely amazing how this pulled together so many different aspects, yet it was a cohesive whole.
It has helped me with growing into my own SoulCollage® practice.
I wasn’t able to attend “live,” but I really loved the experience of watching the videos afterwards. I found the speakers all quite wonderful and I got a lot out of each class. It was kindof nice to be able to pause the videos when I needed more time to process the information and guided imagery…etc.
And to fully know yourself is to reckon with ALL of these forms,
all of these incarnations of womanness—
to embrace, finally, the community of women that lives in all of us.
