where we can actually see each other.

What’s This Virtual Retreat All About?
Even if you know nothing about them, your ancestors are a tremendous resource for you, and they are just waiting for you to ask them for guidance and information about who and where you come from. Through Audrey’s work as an art therapist and SoulCollage® Facilitator/Trainer, she has been surprised and delighted to find that our ancestors love to speak to us through creative processes.
In this workshop experience, we will play with ways to get in touch with those who came before us. We will be tapping into this great well of wisdom and experience through processes that use your creative imagination.
We will travel to the ancestral realm using guided imagery, SoulCollage®, and intuitive writing.
You will learn about the four realms of ancestral memory and explore your heritage through these portals
Audrey Chowdhury will lead the first 90 minutes of our time together with an Opening Circle to gather us into “retreat mode.” During this time there will also be teaching and sharing on our experiences working with our ancestors, using, of course, the process of SoulCollage®. We will explore the four realms of ancestral memory which are described in Audrey’s book, Ancestral Impressions: Exploring Your Ancestry through Creativity, Imagery, and Intuition.
This session will also include optional group discussion and lots of visual examples.
Then we’ll break so everyone can be on their own for one hour to make cards (and believe me, by then you’ll be really inspired to make some cards!). We’ll turn the recording off but we will all remain on the video link as much as possible, so that we can all stay connected.
We’ll gather together again for the last 90 minutes for some insight-full journaling, lots of sharing of our cards, and a closing circle to send us back out of the retreat and into our lives, with a clear plan in mind for staying connected with the ancestors who wish to guide us and bless us on our journeys.
Because we’ll be connected by video, you can hold a new (or old!) card up to the camera and everyone will be able to see it as you talk about it!

Although they may depart physically, ancestors etch an indelible mark with a powerful influence over an individual’s life. This influence holds insight into many of life’s puzzling aspects. Are the secrets, fears, and superstitions of ancestors responsible for modern beliefs? Have long-lived family patterns emerged into daily life? About Audrey Chowdhury
Audrey F. Chowdhury is a writer, artist, and workshop facilitator. She trained many SoulCollage® facilitators during her years as a SoulCollage® facilitator trainer. Audrey feels fortunate to have studied and traveled with the International Council of the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.
