CLASS 1
This form of a reading is not something esoteric or occult. It is not about forecasting the future. The cards do not have meanings predetermined by any tradition or another person. Each card has a meaning that you will intuit for yourself, and every time an image is consulted, you will come up with your own internal answer. — Seena Frost
*
This is not a process that depends on any unusual or psychic powers. It is an intuitive dialogue with some of the Neters of your many-faceted Soul. Everyone has intuition and imagination and is able to do it for oneself. — Seena Frost
BASIC READING Example 1
Who has insight to share with me about my relationship with my big brother John?
Patience – I am the one who is sitting still and looking out to sea, waiting. I am the one who is sheltered in this cove. I am the one who is alone. I am the one who is calmly waiting for something or someone. What I have to say to you about your relationship with John is this: You have taken steps to reach out to him, dear one. You can’t force what isn’t happening. It’s all about the tides, see? They come in and they go out. In nature as well as relationships. Trust. Be still. Focus within. Be patient.
Mystic – I am the one who is covered in a black cloak, holding a crystal ball. I am the one who is rising out of a multi-faceted diamond. I am the one who looks into the ball, who holds the ball reverently and steadily. I am the one who stands in front of Spirit, the Container of all things. I am the one who sees, who knows, who understands. My message to you about your relationship with your brother John is this: hold steady. Do not give up. Keep looking and searching for ways to reach out to him. He is dear to you and you are dear to him. The only thing you can do is honor yourself. Do you need to be very close to him now? Because you were close when you were younger, does that mean you need to be close now? What exactly is making you sad? Look within, and see!
Stripey Shadows – I am the one who is looking outside. I am the one who is looking towards the light. I am the one who is made up of light and shadow. I am the one who is accepting of the light and the dark parts of me. I am the one who knows that one cannot exist without the other. What I say to you about you and your brother is this: It is about balancing the light with the dark. You cannot have any relationship that is all golden, all the time. Do you see? Open your eyes and look around you. Closeness with others comes and goes. It must be worked at, held closely, intentioned into being. Do you have that intention with your brother? Does he? Do not think that all is light or all is dark. Simply remember that all is well.
BASIC READING Example 2
Here’s how a few shadow cards might have answered that question from Example 1:

Killjoy- I am the one who kills joy wherever it is found. I am the one who doesn’t want you to feel joy. I am the one who beats the joy right out of you. I am the one who is scared of feeling joy and doesn’t want you to experience it. I am the one who believes that life is hard and that joy is only good for special occasions like Christmas and maybe your birthday. I am the one who has been with you since childhood. My insight about your relationship with John is this: Having a big brother used to bring you a lot of joy. Take a look at my energy and see if you can figure out how I’ve been stopping you from that sibling-joy. Know that you don’t need to cowtow to my voice all the time. I am just one voice out of many. I am not necessarily the truth.

Bubble Woman- I am the one who has many difficult emotions but I keep myself locked away from them. I am the one who is safe here in my bubble where I don’t have to feel any messy feelings. I am the one who protects myself from life by not feeling difficult feelings. My message for you about John is this: Maybe you need to process some of your feelings about how you and he are no longer close. Are you feeling angry? Sad? Scared? Guilty? I may have been the one who ran your life for many years but I no longer need to run your life! You have choices and one choice you have right now is to come out of that bubble and let the real feelings in. They will not destroy you. They will help you to heal.
A PRAYER BEFORE DOING A CARD READING
To the Many and the One: Thank you for these cards that have come to me to share my journey. Open my mind and my heart to receive the message and the meaning you have for me as I ask a question of you, the Many and the One. Guide me to see the Many and the One in these images. I honor the Many and the One created within me and beyond me. I am the one who was created, is created, and will be created anew again within this circle of love. So might it be. Amen. SURRENDER
I am the one who bows down to What Is. I am the one who lets life Flow around me. I am the one who is in a posture of full supplication. I am the one who prays while I surrender. I am the one who is surrounded by water and earth and air. I am the one who surrenders to Spirit. I am the one who bows down to Life and the Joy of Living it.
My message for you today is this: Right now, get into this position that I am in. Feel how it feels to really bow down and surrender. I mean it… right now! Get out of your chair and DO it.
QUEEN OF AUTHENTICITY
I am the one who stands tall and strong in the shining golden sun. I am the one who is the keeper of your Truth. I am the one who has chosen not to get on the sailboats, but to stand still. I stand with authority. I stand with faith and justice.
My message for you today is this: I know exactly who I am and that is my biggest teaching for you today and always- that you remember who you are, that you point your fingers upwards towards the Divine, that you let the Light shine on you, that you always pause to remember who you are, and that you hold yourself, your life, proudly.
SUMMARY– Wow, I see quite two different postures in these women. One is bowed down, surrendering, and I can’t see her face. The other is standing up straight, strong, proud, owning her self and her life. However, I am noticing that both of their hands/fingers are pointing upward, and I will let that be my grace note for today. Point my heart and my hands upwards towards the Divine. Let that be my focal point. That everything is in the hands of Spirit.

Final Steps (Optional)
- Read slowly over everything you have written. Read it out loud if you are somewhere where you won’t be disturbed. Circle any phrases or sentences of wisdom that you want to carry forward into your life. These can be words of encouragement OR words of challenge. Select one from each card OR not.. whatever feels right to you.
- Write these words of wisdom on a separate sheet of paper and use them as springboards for your own journaling this week. Allow questions to bubble forth from this wisdom you received. Allow a few action steps to make themselves known.
- Post these words of wisdom somewhere where you will see them often.
- Bask in the glow of your own wisdom! Here are my words of wisdom from my own reading that I’d like to journal with this week:
It’s okay to keep under wraps my current intense inner growth process.
I give myself the gift of sensuality when I stop indulging in sugar.
I love my journey!
I need to believe that I am beloved and cherished… I need this energy to run free in my life.
Am I resisting the process of growing older and if so, how can I move with it gracefully?

CLASS 4
Welcoming a New Card Into Your Deck
This reading is lovingly adapted from Facilitator/Trainer Mariabruna Sirabella‘s column from a previous issue of The Neter Letter for Facilitators.
Step 1-
Choose a new card that you’d like to welcome into your Deck.

Step 2
Do some I Am the One Who… statements from your new Neter.
My new card: Leaps Into Happiness
I am the one who raises my arms and leaps feet first into whatever makes me happy. I am the one who doesn’t care what I look like. What’s important is that I am experiencing full-blown HAPPINESS. There is joy and colorful treasures all around me and I am to claim them all for myself!
Step 3– Read or say out loud this Prayer to the Neters (adapted from Mariabruna):
Please help me to receive the gifts of my new card and help me to integrate its energy into the Tribe. I invite the two of you to be seasoned godparents and to illuminate for me its role in my Deck. My intention is to see this card in context so I can better understand how it relates within the wholeness of my Deck.
Step 4- Take a breath. Turn Random Card #1 over and hold it in your hands for a moment, like a prayer. Breathe in its energy. Then write some I Am the One Who… statements from this card.
My Random Card #1- Dad:
I am the one who loved and loves you unconditionally. I am the one who loved the ocean and good food and making music and writing letters and weaving. I am the one who passed my creativity on to you. I am the one who was always a good father to you. I am the one who loved to laugh.
Step 5- Allow random Card #1 to welcome your new Neter into the deck in whatever way it chooses.
Dad says: Welcome, Leaps Into Happiness! Thank you for joining me and all the parts of my daughter’s world. We are glad you have made an appearance. In my life on earth, I wasn’t always able to leap into happiness although I tried. Your energy serves me and many others in this Deck. Often I was caught up in responsibilities and didn’t have time to pursue my own personal happiness as uninhibitedly as you are doing. I was always happy when I was around my family.
Step 6- Repeat Steps 4 and 5 with Random Card #2:
My Random Card #2- Wild Woman:
I am the one who howls like the wild wolf, who rides imaginary horses with wild abandon. I am the one who is intense in my wildness and I am the one who finds great joy in my wildness. I am the one who was wild in my youth, who didn’t care what others thought. I am the one who took great risks. I am the one who can still take great risks now that I am getting older.
Wild Woman Says: Welcome, Leaps Into Happiness! Thank you for joining us today. We have a lot in common, you and I. Neither one of us cares what others think about us. You have a great deal of wildness about you and I have no fear of leaping feet first into something that brings me joy. There are several Neters in this Deck who could use an extra dose of wild happiness and your presence here will add much to the wholeness of Anne Marie’s world!

The most powerful purpose of a card deck is to empower you to make conscious, creative choices and know the next right action. Our cards help us to see the patterns that repeat throughout our lives and they provide guidance on how to shift any patterns that are not helpful to us. ~ Colette Baron Reid
