Oasis Audio Break Descriptions
#1 Circled on a Map (12 minutes)- Take a few moments out of your busy day to breathe and relax. Enter an ancient room that houses the navigational tools and maps of your own life. Allow a Wise One to show you a map of your journey so far. This magical inner journey is based on this verse from the mystical Sufi poet Hafiz:
This place where you are right now
God circled on a map for you.
wherever your eyes and arms and heart can move
against the earth and the sky,

#2 Velvet Blanket (11 minutes)- Take a few minutes out of your busy day to breathe and relax. Envelop yourself in a lush velvet blanket and allow its color to permeate your soul. Allow it to soften your body, mind and spirit. Give yourself the gift of an 11 minute break that will quiet your mind and relax your spirit. as we heard the door handle turn.

#10 Loving-Kindness Meditation (11 minutes)- This meditation is based on Metta, which is aĀ is a practice that focuses on loving-kindnessā¦ to ourselves, to those we love, to those who bring us conflict, and with all sentient beings. This is a simple yet powerful meditation that you can use anytime and anywhere to center yourself and to move yourself towards peace and harmony and away from hurt and resentment.
