Who are you?
I am the one who is old and wise and who has lived through the ages. I am the one who speaks and lives from my wisdom.
I am the one who does exactly what I need to do. I donāt worry about what other people think of me.
I am the one who secretly smiles at my mistakes and keeps on going.
What gifts do you bring to me?
I give you wisdom and a deep inner knowing. This wisdom encompasses all that is within you as well as outside of you.
I give you the wisdom of old age, and of knowing that your heart and mind and spirit do not age as your body ages.
What do you want from me?
I want you to do what you want to do, do what you need to do, not just to survive, but for joy.
I want you to smile to yourself often, and do silly things just for the fun of it.
I want you to listen to your inner wisdom.

you’d like to say to me today?
Yes. I want you to spend time now and then with those who are elderly. Their stories aren’t ending, they are continuing.
