Class 1
Goddess: Kuan Yin
with Anne Marie Bennett &
Gail M. Syring
Kuan Yin, the Chinese Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, is also known as “She who hears the cries of the world.” She originated in India as a god, became female as her legend traveled to China, and is now worshiped throughout Asia as one who offers compassion to all, in par
ticular people who are oppressed, disenfranchised, or suffering. Kuan Yin’s message to us is to release judgment of all kinds, and offer ourselves the mercy, compassion, and healing that we more easily offer to others.
Gail M. Syring, a higher education professional and interfaith minister, was introduced to SoulCollage® in 2013, and trained with Anne Marie Bennett to become a SoulCollage® Facilitator in 2015. Gail has integrated creative expression and the fundamentals of SoulCollage® into her Psychology courses, spiritual direction, and client work as a Creative Grief Support professional. Goddess imagery, archetypes, and mythology are integral parts of Gail’s own personal spiritual journey, as well as her ministry, educational, and healing work as a Reiki Master Teacher. She believes that the Goddess, in Her many faces, is an essential link between humanity and the Divine, especially for those who identify as women or embrace the feminine aspects in all things. Gail is a Connecticut native who lives with her cats who are as glorified as the Goddess Bast Herself.
Class 2
Goddess: Brigit
with Anne Marie Bennett &
Jennifer Mantle
The Celtic Goddess Brigit can support us in our lives by helping us to stand up for what we believe is right. She encourages us to speak our truth and trust that our actions will turn out for the good. Brigit is considered a triple Goddess because she is patroness of three primary skills in the Celtic world; poetry, healing and craftsmanship. She represents the elements of fire and water. Brigit is a fiery Goddess who tirelessly protects those who call upon her; she is a feminine counterpart to Saint Patrick. Brigit’s temple is in Kildare, Ireland. She is celebrated worldwide on February 1, which is the ancient sacred day called Imbolc, marking the beginning of Springtime and increasing daylight. In this workshop, we will experience Brigit’s energy and allow her to live through us for strength and support.
Jennifer Mantle took the Facilitator Training with Seena Frost in 2009 (or so). The Divine 
Feminine infuses everything Jennifer does, both creatively and personally, so it is well represented in her SoulCollage® practice and teaching. Jennifer is also an ordained priestess and a professional sign language interpreter.
Class 3
Goddess: Hestia
with Anne Marie Bennett & Sophie Terrasse
Hestia is the Greek goddess of the hearth and keeper of the temple flame. She invites us to dive into our spiritual practices as part of our daily activities and to connect to our intuition and wisdom.
Sophie Terrasse, M.A., originally from France, has been living in Canada since 1992. She was trained as a SoulCollage® Facilitator with Audrey Chowdhury in 2016. Sophie is an Art Therapist, a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and the founder of Sunflower Institute. Deeply convinced that health is not a static state but rather a dynamic process and a constant search for balance, she has made it her mission to accompany women in search of wellness to realign themselves with their deepest needs. Her strength lies in an original and harmonious integration of spirituality and creativity to help women to better know themselves, grow in wisdom and recreate their life. Sophie’s work with the sacred feminine is based on the approach of Jean Shinoda Bolen who uses seven archetypal goddesses to describe behavioral patterns and personality traits. Sophie introduces women to this concept through her program: The 7 Facets of the Feminine, Women and Archetypes. She sees this program as a pilgrimage, an inner journey to reconnect to our essence as women in order to learn how to develop and harmonize the energy of 7 archetypes belonging to Greek mythology for integrating 7 essential facets of the feminine.

Goddesses: Demeter, Persephone, Hecate
with Anne Marie Bennett & Stephanie Anderson Ladd
The Triple Goddesses: Persephone, Demeter, and Hecate are Greek goddesses who exemplify the Maiden, Mother and Crone archetypal energies. This triumvirate represents feminine life stages, inner parts, moon phases, and the creative process. We will explore their rich story of tra
nsformation and how it can be applied to life transitions and underworld experiences such as depression, grief, and rebirth.

Goddesses of Transformation: Inanna & Akhilandeshvari
with Anne Marie Bennett & Jennifer Boire
Akhilandeshvari is sometimes called The Goddess of Never-Not-broken. She helps us accept our woundedness and imperfections. Inanna is an ancient Sumerian goddess whose descent into the underworld and subsequent resurrection prefigures the Greek myth of Persephone, the Christian story of Jesus’ resurrection, and is one of the earliest written myths. These Goddesses of Transformation can help us accept life changes, compost our sorrows, and find the wee crack of light in the darkness. We rise again, renewed in the cycle of life-death-life.
Jennifer Boire, MA English, trained as a SoulCollage® Facilitator in 2012 with Audrey Chowdhury. She lives in Montreal, Quebec. She became a Facilitator Trainer in 2018 and has led bilingual and French trainings. She i
s a published poet and author of the book The Tao of Turning Fifty, (on mid-life transition and menopause). Reading Inanna’s story of Descent was immensely reassuring during her menopausal transition years. She has taught this myth several times as part of the online Heroine’s Quest class. It can bring a sense of empowerment to women who are in transition or going through periods of loss. She also loves researching the hundreds of names of “goddess” and their cultural histories, especially the earlier female-centered stories before the Greek and Roman conquerors pulled them down from all-powerful Goddess of Birth & Death to mere consorts and sex goddesses. These days, her own story of “death and rebirth” continues cyclically. She loves reading novels about archetypal myths, especially when they involve women acting imperfectly and facing the shadow parts that need acceptance and embracing. Goddess: Pachamama
with Anne Marie Bennett &
Elise Crohn
Pachamama is the South American Earth Mother Goddess celebrated and revered in the Andes; she brings blessings of abundance and fertility. Embraced by environmentalists world-wide, protecting Pachamama as the embodied Spirit of Nature with rights and privileges equal to humans has been codified into constitutional law in some parts of South America. As humanity grapples with climate change physically, emotionally and spiritually, there is much to be learned from Goddess Pachamama and those who champion her cause.
Elise Crohn is a dedicated and passionate Expressive Arts facilitator working at the crossroads of depth psychology, creativity and activism for 20+ years. Founder of Juicy Creatives Studio in Lake Worth, Florida, Elise offers workshops, retreats and experiences that invite transformation through authentic exploration, expression and healing of the psyche. Elise received her SoulCollage® Facilitator Training with Audrey Chowdhury in 2011 and since then has facilitated hundreds of students in creating their own SoulCollage® cards, decks and readings. A long time environmental activist and advocate for women, Elise has actively honored the goddess for decades with an array of projects such as co-founding an eco-feminist living collective, developing an eco-pilgrimage project called Gaia’s Witness, curating art shows for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and creating art programs for residential drug treatment centers. Currently she facilitates a year-long online pilgrimage called “The Magical Moon Year”, a creative journey to radical belonging and kinship with Earth. Elise is also a Certified Creative Depth Coach with Journey Path Institute, and has post graduate training in Jungian Sandplay therapy. Goddess: Kali
with Gail M. Syring and Anne Marie Bennett
Kali is the Hindu triple goddess of creation, preservation, and destruction. She reveals the truth, and demands that we face it as well.
Anne Marie Bennett to become a SoulCollage® Facilitator in 2015. Goddess: Yemanja

Yemanja (also known as Yemaya) is the West African Goddess of the Ocean. She teaches us the power of surrender and the multi-faceted nature of the Divine Feminine, among other lessons.

The Divine Feminine infuses everything Jennifer does, both creatively and personally, so it is well represented in her SoulCollage® practice and teaching. Every session was well-structured. I enjoyed the variety of the presenters and what each one offered.
I really loved meeting and connecting with other SoulCollagers from all over the place! It was wonderful to connect with them in all of the small group breakout sharing sessions.
What was really great was that you gathered together Facilitators with so many different teaching styles. No two sessions were alike!
Thank you for this offering. It was worth every penny as well as the time that I put into watching the videos and doing the “homeplay.”
I had a great time! I will go back to these classes again and learn new things. It’s wonderful that that’s possible.
I loved the many different guest Facilitators and the ability to watch the videos later and not have to watch “live.” So much work went into each presentation, that was obvious.
I learned so many new things about my deck that went beyond the topic of the series.
I appreciated the integrity of the environment that was set up for us to go deep, share, feel… I thought that the variety in topic, format, speakers, participants, was helpful. I also liked the time in between Zooms to continue the work with weekly loving email reminders and activities.
It was absolutely amazing how this pulled together so many different aspects, yet it was a cohesive whole.
It has helped me with growing into my own SoulCollage® practice.
I wasn’t able to attend “live,” but I really loved the experience of watching the videos afterwards. I found the speakers all quite wonderful and I got a lot out of each class. It was kindof nice to be able to pause the videos when I needed more time to process the information and guided imagery…etc.
. . . we have no other way of speaking about the Absolute. We need forms and images. Without them we have no way of relating to the Divine. Symbol and image create a universal spiritual language. It’s the language the soul understands.
