Journaling Exercise

Once you have completed your Future Me SoulCollage® card use the following exercises to assist you to explore the card further and focus on it positively. (You may chose to use your non-dominant hand to answer these questions).

1. Investigation– Look at your SoulCollage® card and imagine that you are already living the life you have pictured there: a. Start with I am the one who b. Notice what sights you see. c. Pay attention to the sounds you hear. d. What fragrances do you smell? e. What can you taste and touch? What textures can you feel? f. How do you feel physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually?

Write about your experiences in first person and present tense.  For example:  I am the one who is living abundantly. I am joyful and worry free. I can hear the birds singing and smell fresh flowers and bread cooking etc

2. Time Traveling- Imagine yourself in a typical day in the future after this dream/SoulCollage® card has come true. Write about it in present tense and be specific, giving lots of details. a. Where are you? b. Who is with you? c. What are you doing? d. How do you feel?

3. Newspaper Interview- Imagine that you have now achieved your dream and you are being interviewed by a national newspaper about your achievements. a. How has your life changed since your dream became a reality? b. How have you changed? c. What does the change feel like?

Write about your experiences in first person and present tense eg I am now less stressed. I’m so glad that I am no longer worried about money and that I have finally learned to manage it well. I love that I can now etc

4. Letter from the Future– Write a letter to someone that you know, explaining your inner journey and your lessons learned. Date the letter in the future, a time after your dream has come true. a. Describe exactly what you have manifested. b. What obstacles did you overcome to achieve this dream come true? c. How did you overcome these challenges? d. What lessons have you learnt along the way?
