Class 1
Archetypes of Creativity & Imagination
with Anne Marie Bennett
& Catherine Anderson
The archetypes at play in the realm of creativity and the imagination are many and varied. There are the archetypes that support our creative process such as the Daemon and the Artist, and there are archetypes that undermine our creative dreams such as the Critic. In turn, each of these archetypes can embody many parts, e.g. the Alchemist and the Shaman can be found within the Artist archetype. Creativity is the process of bringing something new into being and the Alchemist merges the mystical with the physical to create this newness. The Imagination archetype allows the Shaman within the Artist to take 
journeys to the dream realms and return with new information. Let’s explore the archetypes of creativity and imagination together with a sense of childlike curiosity, creativity and play!
SPECIAL NOTE: The first half hour of this class includes a 30-minute overview of the Council suit with Anne Marie Bennett.
Catherine Anderson is fortunate to spend her days creating in her studio overlooking the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and leading creative pilgrimages to beautiful places around the world. Catherine loves introducing others to the inner processes that she considers soul languages, such as SoulCollage®, the labyrinth, contemplative photography and visual journaling. She loves watching as retreat participants open up to their own creative gifts and start sharing them in the world. When Catherine is not playing in her studio or teaching, you can find her quietly walking the beaches on the tip of the Eastern Shore of Virginia and volunteering at Kiptopeke State Park picking up trash that floats on to the beach from the Bay. Class 2
The Archetypal Healer’s Journey
with Anne Marie Bennett
& An Marshall
The Healer is one of the most ancient of the archetypes having been in all societies across all times. The Healer may go by many names – Caregiver, Companion, Nurse, Therapist, Midwife, Rescuer, Servant. You do not have to work in a career in the healing arts or sciences to be influenced by this archetype as probably all of us have some capacity of the Healer. Our exploration will go past the wounds of pain, grief, challenge, loss, trauma, etc. to seek wholeness. From vulnerability, self-care, transformation, witnessing, being a conduit, one- modality-fixes-all thinking, and undergoing initiation, we will travel the spectrum of both light and shadow, from wounded to well-being.
An Marshall is a contemplative life journey artist and is passionate about archetypes. Once we become aware of our patterns and our default “stories,” powerful choices can be made. She embodies the belief that integrating knowledge about archetypes into one’s everyday life creates a larger life, a more impassioned way of being, and a soul that leaves legacy. An completed a two-year study program with the Caroline Myss Educational institute and is a certified Archetypal Consultant. She became a SoulCollage® Facilitator in 2019. She recently facilitated a year-long class, Archetype Journey Through SoulCollage®, and uses the SoulCollage modality with fabric. One of An’s goals is to curate a world-wide art exhibition of large-scale Archetypes collaborating with various artists. Some of her key archetypes are Guide, Alchemist, Healer, Artist, Seeker, Pioneer. She resides at the beach in St. Augustine, Florida with her “Saint” of a husband. Mystical Archetypes
with Anne Marie Bennett
& Debrah Gai Lewis
In this Mystical Archetypes workshop we will explore the Mystic, a character archetype, and three related thematic archetypes: Immensity, Intensity, and Intimacy — the three “I’s” inherent to any mystical experience. We will also look at the shadow side of these four archetypes. At 
the foundation of this workshop is the truism that we all have the capacity for direct experience of the sacred — for the mystical or cosmic experience, and for shining our light in the world.
Debrah Gai Lewis, has been doing SoulCollage® since 2008 and became a SoulCollage® Facilitator in 2011. She lives in Lillian Rock, New South Wales, Australia. Debrah has facilitated numerous in-person and online SoulCollage® courses and workshops over the past eleven years. More recently, Debrah created and hosts ‘SoulLight’ on the Mighty Networks platform, where she and other SoulLighters share SoulCollage® through both free activities, and paid courses and workshops. Archetypes in Film & Fiction

You know the feeling. A book or film stays with you, haunting you long after the last page or scene. You’ll read or watch it again and again; you can’t get enough. Why? We return to these stories because the lead characters’ plights are archetypal—they resonate in a universally human way. Their quest to to find out who they truly are is the same question we have about ourselves. In this workshop, we’ll investigate the distinct journeys of the hero, the heroine, and other paths our favorite characters take. We’ll explore how aspects of these archetypal narratives reflect in
our own experience. Through activities with our SoulCollage® cards, we’ll recognize our own adventure, appreciating the role we play as the leads in our own lives.
Kimberly Lee left the practice of law some years ago to focus on motherhood, community work, and creative pursuits. A graduate of Stanford University and UC Davis School of Law, she is certified by Amherst Writers & Artists and the Center for Journal Therapy, and is a SoulCollage® Facilitator. She has led workshops at numerous retreats and conferences, and is a teaching artist at several writing centers. A former editor at Literary Mama, Kimberly has worked on the staffs of Carve and F(r)iction magazines and currently serves on the board of the Transformative Language Arts Network. Archetypes in the Natural World

Nature’s wonders await us in physical, symbolic and spiritual form, and Nature’s archetypal wonders await us as well. Nature’s archetypes offer fascinating teachings and
gifts as we learn to listen to those with resonance in our personal story as well as those who pique our curiosity. With intention and awareness, we tune in to Nature’s archetypal frequencies. Our inner nature evolves as our relationship with the outer natural world also evolves. Nurturing these interconnections is vital to the well-being of oneself and the planet. We will meet several of these archetypes such as Seed, Flower, Tree, Forest, Meadow, Mountain, Volcano, Desert, Cave, Stone, Waterfall, Lake, River and Ocean. Which ones call to you?
Class 6
Essential and Misunderstood Archetypes
with Anne Marie Bennett & Barb Horn
Death, Victim, Saboteur, Prostitute, Trickster, Shame, Perfectionist, Rescuer, Unrequited Lover, Addict and Vampire. Yuck, who wants to go there? By design, these particular archetypes are not likable and they are unavoidable. They’re up to no good, causing pain and leaving messes for us to clear and clean up. They hijack other archetypes as well as our Committee, Community and Companion Neters, creating teams. These “teams” then generate magnetic energies that form relationships and experiences, which push us through cycles of power and powerlessness, all the while managing (mismanaging) our identity, esteem, worth, safety, survival and security. However, these misunderstood archetypes come to serve. As we begin to better understand them, their transformation fires the creative force for other archetypes and Committee Neters to express themselves. They are in our house, at our table and in our hearts . . . why not see the gifts that they bring?
Barb Horn became a SoulCollage® Facilitator in 2005. Her passion is to bring love and levity to the sacred art of falling in love with oneself, ego and Soul, to fully engage the oracles we truly are, and to assist our collective evolution. She has developed various material, courses, and a master class exploring how these collective forces work and teach us, especially those we would rather not have at our inner dinner table. She is an alchemical hypnotherapist, Voice and Values coach, inspirational speaker, and teacher. Barb co-authored the award-winning Divine Dog and Cosmic Cat Wisdom Card Decks at EnlightenUp.biz. From global leaders to entertainers to characters in current fictional sagas, we will consider a spectrum of possibilities. Today’s mythic figures, from heroes to villains, may offer some unexpected connections to archetypes and make them more tangible and accessible. We’ll spend some dedicated time with The Sacred Fool and its crucial role in helping us navigate the challenges of our times. Get ready for some surprising connections, int

Dr. Michele Manos trained as a Facilitator in 2008. In 2009, she co-organized the International SoulCollage® Facilitators’ Conference at Kenyon Ranch, Arizona. There she introduced the first of her “SoulCollage® Card Games” which blossomed into workshops, retreats, and virtual gatherings intended to deepen the practice and encourage “Playing With A Full Deck.” She teaches a popular course series “Suit Your Self: The SoulCollage® Quartet of Inner Wisdom.” Michele enjoys exploring and helping others discover how archetypal energies influence our many selves and each suit of our deck. I loved the many different guest Facilitators and the ability to watch the videos later and not have to watch “live.” So much work went into each presentation, that was obvious.
I learned so many new things about my deck that went beyond the topic of the series.
I appreciated the integrity of the environment that was set up for us to go deep, share, feel… I thought that the variety in topic, format, speakers, participants, was helpful. I also liked the time in between Zooms to continue the work with weekly loving email reminders and activities.
It was absolutely amazing how this pulled together so many different aspects, yet it was a cohesive whole.
It has helped me with growing into my own SoulCollage® practice.
I wasn’t able to attend “live,” but I really loved the experience of watching the videos afterwards. I found the speakers all quite wonderful and I got a lot out of each class. It was kindof nice to be able to pause the videos when I needed more time to process the information and guided imagery…etc.
What we are doing as we make SoulCollage® cards for our Council Suit is recognizing, imaging, naming, honoring, and consulting the archetypes who clearly have selected us. We also will be drawn to images representing the less known and mysterious archetypes — the ones who are on the edges of consciousness, flitting in and out, and inviting us to engage with them more deeply. ~ Seena Frost
