I made this card as I was focusing in on the third chakra, using Anodea Judith’s book The Sevenfold Journey as a guide.  This ties in with the concept of power, around which I am shifting my old beliefs from negative to positive.

Judith describes the Spiritual Warrior as “one who is willing to stand their ground, to protect the sacred within, to accept challenges, and maintain power in a firm and quiet way.”

I have not begun to dialog with this powerful spirit guide but I can already feel her presence in my life.  I am noticing more about the times in my life when I feel powerful, and I am embracing those times more fully.

I made this card several months ago but hadn’t worked with it at all until it showed up this week in one of my Daily Readings.  I thought at the time I made it that it had something to do with wholeness, and I was right!

Who are you? I am the one who is two halves contained in one.  I am the one who holds you as you give me the shape to be held.  I am the one who is held and who creates a shape for you to hold.  I am the one who is one, complete, whole, black AND white, light AND shadow, all the many blended into one entity. I am the one who loves and is loved, who rests and is the rock against which you rest.  I am the one of ages and eons past, of lunar AND solar energy.  I am the one who can truly rest and close my eyes in safety and peace because I know that I am whole and complete, just as I am.

What do you have to give me? I give you a sense of yourself as whole, complete, solid, joined,  integrated.  I give you union within yourself. What do you want from me? I want you to stop looking outside yourself for wholeness, for a sense of completeness and safety.  It already exists inside of you!

I made this card over a year ago and was stunned with it when it was finished.  As I’ve continued to draw this card in daily readings, more and more layers of its message to me has been revealed.

This card is a perfect example of “waiting and seeing” and allowing the meaning of the SoulCollage^® to come to you a little bit at a time.

Who are you? I am the veiled one, standing on the threshold of something ancient yet something new, for it is new to me.  I am the one standing on the threshold of a new adventure.  The universe awaits me and I seek it out in its fullest capacity to hold, embrace, sustain me.  I am the one who is ready to step into the magnificent universe.  I am the one who sees the unknown as a kind, exciting place, a place of mutual trust.  I am the one who trusts that the next step will be safe, will not harm me in any way.  I am the one who steps forward into mystery with intention and grace, who trusts the unfolding of the journey, who isn’t afraid to venture forth into unknown territory.

What do you have to give me? I give you fearlessness.  I give you freedom from worry and anxiety. I give you new adventures. I give you faith and trust that all shall be well.

What do you want from me? I want you to trust that all will be well, no matter what.  I want you to remember that in mystery, all is not chaos and darkness, that there is also order and beauty and bright bursts of color, and new beginnings.

January 2006- I drew this card in a reading where I asked for help and support during the next three weeks when I had to wait for the results of a suspicious uterine biopsy.  I want you to hold onto this saying and this card for I hold the deepest inner truth… that all SHALL be well.  No matter what.  I want you to step into and embrace the faith that grounds this quotation’s reality.  I want you to claim the faith that activates the reality of what happens when you truly believe that all shall be well.  I want you to know that the road ahead is not necessarily chaos and darkness and grief.  I want you to look ahead and see the beauty, the order, the bright bursts of color, and claim them for your own.

July, 2006-  I drew this card in a Daily Reading.  I am here today to remind you that all shall be well.  Today is full of appointments, and you have been resisting two of them for a while, but I tell you to step into that unknown place and know that it is all for a deeper, broader reason.  Trust.  Trust, Dear One.  You can trust that Spirit is with you, even in the minute and mundane daily things.

September, 2007- I drew this card in a Daily Reading. I am the one who faces the mystery of the Universe, both inside and out.  I am the one who trusts that the Universe is a safe and friendly place.  I am the one who trusts Spirits and my Spirit Guides to guide/help/assist me on my journey towards wholeness and adventure.  My message for you today is about Travel, Exploration, and Adventure.  You are about to embark (next month) on several journeys- some near and some far (Baltimore, Cape Cod, Spain, Morocco) and I sense your trepidation and fear of the unknown, Dear One.  My message for you today is to honor this ancient call within you to journey throughout the world, and to honor your inner transformative adventures as well.

This is one of the first SoulCollage^® cards I created.  In my stack of images that I gathered at that first workshop, I found many pictures of people who looked like they were on a journey.  Hmmm… .imagine that!  This card came together.  I thought originally it was for the part of me who looks at life as a journey, but it turned out to be more than that!

Who are you? I am the one who is crossing over the bridge, who is at a place of transition, who is alone on the inner journey, who is having second thoughts about going forward. I am the one who is on this journey alone.  The inner journey is undertaken with a deep sense of solitude and inner dialog.  I am the one who accepts the journey, no matter what the weather. I am the one who is safe within my own soul as I travel on.

What do you have to give me? I give you a sense of rightness in your traveling.  I give you a sense of prupose and direction as you travel alone on the inner journey. I give you light.

What do you want from me? I want you to keep moving, to rest when you need to, to pause, to regain your balance when you need to, and then to move forward.  I want you to remember that there is always a path to follow.

March 27, 2006- I am the one who Journeys on no matter what.  I am th eone walking in the light of my own soul, my own truth. I awant you to remember today that it’s all one big long continuous path.  The road goes up, the road goes down, it doesn’t matter.  What matters is that you keep moving forward.  And all will be well.  Get up and keep walking.  Learn the lessons of the day.  Keep going. That is all.

June 16, 2006- I am the one who reminds you that all of Life is a journey, an inward journey, an outer journey.  Steps towards the Inner Diamond.  Steps towards a new home, a new job, a new friend, a new state of mind.  What I say to you today is this: your life is a journey and keep looking forward, no matter what.

10/24/06- I am the one who says that life is a journey.  I am the one who says “It’s safe to take the next step, even if you are alone.”  My message for you today is this: Journey on.  Remember that you are on a journey.  Enjoy each step of it.  Look around you as you go.  Enjoy the scenery as you go.

2/14/07- I am here to remind yu to stand strong and move forward on your journey.  It looks like you are alone but you are not alone, EVER.  There is always always Light to follow, Light that follows you, surrounds you, hovers over you, peeks just around the corner.  The light is a gift… a blessing, a joy.  Take time to notice this light on your own path RIGHT NOW.  Allow it to show you the way.  Allow it to light your soul from within.  Your journey is precious, valuable, beautiful, YOURS.  Embrace it.  Rest whenyou need to, but keep moving forward.  All will be wel.. Divine light is guiding you forward.

This is one of the first cards I made, and it really surprised me, because I love color so much, and this one is in shades of black and white.  I also was surprised when I started to interpret this card because I thought it was about the part of me who grieves and feels deep sadness over loss.  BUT… as soon as the card began to “speak” to me, I discovered it really was a spirit guide of sorts.  Listen…

Who are you? I am the one who grieves with you when you hear bad news or when you suffer in any way.  I am the one who feels your losses as pain and grief.  I am the one who honors your loss, who holds your loss, who allows you to grieve.  I am the one who sits with you in the shadows of your pain and vulnerability.  I am the one who breathes new life into you when your grieving is done.  I am the one who walks hand in hand with Sorrow.  I am the one who helps you to bear the pain of your loss.

What do you have to give me? I give you acceptance and hope.  I give you a shoulder to lean on and a Knowing that you are not alone.   I give you new directions, new life.

What do you want from me? I want you to feel the pain of your grieving.  I want you to fully enter it, and to hold my hand while you are in that space of loss.  I want you to know that Sorrow has its own gifts, and you cannot receive them until you enter that particular darkness.  I want you to know that the darkness of grief is safe when you invite me to join you in that darkness.
