Hi! I’m Anne Marie, the creator of KaleidoSoul, and a SoulCollage® facilitator in Massachusetts. If you’re just starting to sing your song with SoulCollage®, then this column is for you!

Hidden Treasures

I find that the practice of SoulCollage® helps me, in a big way, to tip myself over and "let the beautiful stuff out!"

When you are making your first cards, it can be a wonderful way to get in touch with pieces and parts of yourself that have been hidden away for far too long. And after a while, these fragments become integrated into the beautiful whole which is your unique self.

Don't hesitate.... start gathering images and digging up the buried treasure of your soul!

Hidden Meanings In Your Cards

• Have you ever become aware of an aspect of an image after you have completed a card?


• Have you ever been surprised to find something in your card that you hadn't realized you'd included?
  
• Has an important "hidden" message or part of an image become apparent to you as you were gluing it down or even after the card was completed?

Then....welcome to the magic of SoulCollage and the wisdom of your subconscious!

Seena Frost (the creator of SoulCollage®) says,

...You may not know why you are choosing this image. This will be revealed to you as you create the card, as you show it to others, and as you consult and work with it over time.

A participant in one of my workshops found a wise grandmother hidden in the background of a card about her sad self.

Another workshop participant found a mouth being covered by a hand (stopping her from speaking) in the background of a card about not feeling confident.

Another card contained a background of an ocean filled with sharks. The SoulCollager intented it as a "menacing" background, but over time the (hungry?) sharks came to be quite an important aspect of this card about eating issues.

Take a moment to look through your deck this week and see if there are any hidden meanings just waiting there to surprise you!
