Soul Singing with Anne Marie |

Hi!
I'm Anne Marie, the creator of KaleidoSoul.com, and a SoulCollage® facilitator in Massachusetts. If you're
just starting to sing your song with SoulCollage®, this column is
especially for you.
Celebrating with SoulCollage®
SoulCollage® has a lot to celebrate this month. After many years of inward movement and growth within our community, it is now expanding outward into the world in a very big way. Three things are happening this month in the SoulCollage® world that are giving ALL of us cause for deep soul celebration.
1. The publication of Seena Frost's new book, SoulCollage® Evolving.
2. The keynote presentation that Seena will give the first weekend in November at the American Art Therapy Association Conference in Sacramento, California.
3. The number (hopefully 50+) of one-minute "I Love SoulCollage®..." videos that are being uploaded into our SoulCollage
TV Channel on YouTube.
I urge each of you to spend a few moments in silence after reading this issue, and really (really!) feel in your body, mind and soul your own sense of celebration for the gift that SoulCollage® is, has been, and will continue to be in your own life. And then rejoice! Smile! Flip through a stack of images and choose some that reflect your feeling of celebration. Make a card in honor of this shift that SoulCollage®
is undergoing. Laugh! And don't forget to pass on the gift.
Anne Marie Bennett is a freelance writer, self-taught artist, SoulCollage® Facilitator and
Facilitator Trainer who trained with Seena Frost. Her background is
elementary education, computer software training, writing, and
mixed media art. She lives, laughs, writes, and sings (and makes
her own SoulCollage® cards!) in Beverly, MA. More of Anne Marie's
cards/interpretations are available on her blog, Inner
Surprises.

Soul Symphonies with Karen |
My name is Karen Mann and I'm a SoulCollage® facilitator
from Melbourne, Australia. This column is for those of you who have
already made some cards & are ready to discover the symphony of
voices inside of you and around you.
Celebrating Your Friends
As I sat down to write this column on the theme of celebration, I have found that what I am drawn to write about is not at all what I imagined my column on celebration to be about. I am however, trusting the process and will write about my recent experiences and realizations.
In the past couple of month two friends have been badly injured in accidents, and are still terribly unwell. Another friend has died, after many years of illness. This has all proven to be quite unsettling for me. I am in my thirties and have been very lucky that illness, injury and death have not touched my life very often. Over these last weeks I have reflected on how quickly one's life can change and how we need to take more opportunities to enjoy each moment and each day and also how we should make sure that those around us know how much we love and appreciate them.
I believe that within our SoulCollage® decks we have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate those who love and inspire us, by making Community cards. Making a SoulCollage® card to represent the people in your life who inspire you and have made a difference in your world is a great way to honor your relationships with others.
As I sat at the funeral of my friend the other day and heard people speak about how they felt about her, I really hoped that they had expressed their appreciation and love to that friend while she was alive. I was reminded how precious each person in my life is and was inspired to let them know how I feel about them. I also felt a renewed calling to make some more Community Cards to celebrate and honor those people in my life who I love dearly.
Seena Frost, creator of the SoulCollage® process, regularly reminds us how important the Community Suit is. Seena draws a Community Card as part of her daily SoulCollage® practice, and I now feel inspired to make this part of my regular practice also.
The other day, when drawing a card at random from my deck as part of a SoulCollage® Reading, I drew my Community card for Anne Marie Bennett (founder of KaleidoSoul.com) and I was reminded how blessed I felt having Anne Marie in my life. I sent Anne Marie an email and told her she had appeared in my reading and how grateful I was for her friendship and support. It was wonderful to share with Anne Marie how blessed I feel to have her in my life. We then had a wonderful email conversation that honored and celebrated our friendship.
Anna Cummins said:
Do not save your loving speeches
For your friends till they are dead;
Do not write them on their tombstones,
Speak them rather now instead.
I encourage you to let those in your life who you cherish know how you feel. Celebrate your relationships and your connections now, in this very moment. If you feel inspired to, you may like to spend some time adding to your Community Suit and celebrating your loved ones in their own SoulCollage® card. You may even like to add drawing a Community Card to
your regular SoulCollage practice.
