What's Intuition Got To Do With It?
The answer in a nutshell: Absolutely Everything!
Intuition is a main player in my inner world when it comes to any
writing or art project that I undertake. I made this SoulCollage®
card to honor the part of me who listens within and follows my own
inner voice of wisdom. Does your own intuitive voice sound like
this?
 I am the one who closes my eyes and
leans back into the sea-green ocean of my own inner knowing. I am
the one who faces the light, whose feet are grounded in the sweet
white flowers that blossom in my soul. I am the one who is grounded
in my own sense of self and in the Divine, at the same time. I am
the one who follows the light of my own knowing. I am the one who
"sees" better when my eyes are closed.
I give you internal and external light that leads your way. I
give you confidence and deep contentment whenever you follow this
light of inner knowing.
I want you to lean back and trust, to relax and know that you will
always be led in the right direction if you follow the light of
your own inner wisdom.
Absolutely amazing things happen when I really hear and apply the
wisdom that this part of me gives to me. I feel led to take a
SoulCollage® workshop and what I learn there changes my life in
myriad ways. I follow this inner voice when it whispers to me to
work on my member's newsletter early this week, and then am glad I
did because later in the week things get really crazy and I have no
time to work on it then. I hear my intuitive voice suggest stopping
by a certain café one morning, and I do it even though another part
of me logically tries to tell me I can't afford an hour away from
my desk drinking coffee. But once I am there, I see an old friend
I've been meaning to get in touch with, and we have a
spirit-lifting conversation that changes the outlook of my whole
week.
Try getting in touch with your own intuition and watch amazing
things (big and small) begin to happen in your own creative life!
Pay attention to this inner whispering the next time you start
creating a SoulCollage® card. You can trust your own intuitive
self!
Suggestion: In order to really get in touch with your own
intuitive voice, it helps to spend some time each day in silence,
listening. Try practicing silence each day this week (even if it's
only for one minute). Notice if this makes it easier to hear your
own intuitive inner voice throughout your week.

Intuition

What is intuition? How do you describe it? Does everyone have it?
How do we know?
Intuition is often thought of as knowledge from within. It's the
ability to understand something immediately without needing
conscious reasoning.
We all have "gut feelings" from time to time. Our instincts hit us
first in our bodies, often telling us what we need to know before
our consciousness catches up. Those gut feelings are our intuition
talking to us.
Our dreams tap into our intuition while we sleep, often sharing
with us some unacknowledged truth or insight we may not have
noticed during our waking time.
Did you know that intuitions get better with practice? Since
intuition is about the brain's ability to pick up on certain
recurring patterns, with practice, we can improve our intuitive
abilities. And, interestingly, people can be intuitive about one
thing (example: chess) and as clueless as the average person about
another.
SoulCollage®, as we know, is an intuitive process. Seena Frost,
birth mother of this process, talks about the "3 I's": Imagination,
Intuition, Images. She says,
"Images attract the attention of the right side of our brains,
and when there are only images, this intuitive side stays in charge
and will go deeper into the uncharted territory of the psyche. It
is this side of our brain that can see the whole picture at once
and surprise us with wise answers that seem to come from some
deeper place."
So with our SoulCollage® practice, we are constantly practicing and
improving our intuition!

how to detect danger, and how to enter in to the stillness of

intuition, to pay attention, to listen and then decide what course
of action you will take. Engage the powers of the moon."

– "I Am One Who holds all the knowledge and intuition within my
hands, heart, and head. I see from all angles, and feel things
before knowing what they are about. Although I am mysterious and
often unknown, I am here, right in the palms of your
hands."
How do you use your intuition? Do you get those gut feelings? If
so, do you act on them or ignore them? There is so much to be
gained by "trusting the process," and trusting our intuition.
